Cheap chipboard from flat packed furniture

Operating a spare parts service involves storing large quantities of chipboard panels which are despatched to customers. Eventually these products are discontinued leaving an excess of stock in our warehouse.

Discontinued product components

Once a product range is discontinued we store parts for a further twelve months but then need to empty our warehouse of discontinued and unsupported panels.
These panels are available for sale at a significantly reduced price.

Current use for recycled chipboard panels

We supply a upholstery manufacturer with chipboard which is used in the manufacture of sofas.
Where complete or almost complete products are available we have a number of companies and individuals who make new product from the panels
Panels have also been used for scenery making for theatrical productions and for general DIY purposes for example boarding a loft with chipboard wardrobe panels.

Benefits
Disposing of chipboard in an environmentally friendly way is currently difficult and land fill is sometimes the only option. We try to recycle all components that we remove from our warehouse in order to keep the environmental effect to a bare minimum.
