08. How to Square a Flat Pack Wardrobe and Fix the Back Panel

Pre-assemble unit as instructed. Place face down on the carton so the back edges are facing up.

Measure both diagonals on the unit ensuring that both dimensions are the same. If not, tap the appropriate end and re-measure to ensure unit is square.

Take the back panel and lay it equally over the back of the unit ensuring that the face of the back is in the correct orientation. Carefully run your fingers down the edges to confirm back is square.

Using the specified nail, carefully fix the back in one corner with a hammer. Repeat the process in the diagonally opposite corner. Then nail each remaining corner.

Proceed to evenly nail the back panel on all other edges paying particular attention to ensure that the nails are positioned centrally on the end of the carcase. Do not allow the nails to break through the faces of the carcase.
